Egypt has invested in developing world class parks dedicated to BPO/ITO outsourcing such as Smart Village and Maadi Technology Park to better suite multinationals and global offshore  players. These technology parks have state-of-the-art infrastructure and are designed to accommodate for around 135,000 Employees. 


Inexpensive office rental fees, compared with other countries, allow Egyptian based business process and/or IT outsourcing companies offering technology services while maintaining   competitive operating cost.


Office spaces within Technology parks are available at as low as 170 USD per square meter per year.


Egypt’s strategic geographic location allows it to have similar time zone and proximity to Europe as well as the Middle-east, and is closer to the US & Canada than India and Philippines.

BPO/ITO Competitive Cost of Operations


Egypt’s cost is one of the most competitive advantages  in the global landscape, the fully loaded operating cost is substantially lower than Easter Europe and marginally lower than India and Philippines, mainly driven by low labor, real-estate and connectivity costs.The costs of doing business in Egypt are significantly lower than in Eastern Europe and even lower than other emerging markets.


The competitive operations cost is partly owing to the fact that the Egyptian Pound (EGP) is relatively stable against the US Dollar, preserving cost competitiveness and encouraging foreign investment.
